The Hope Centre offers a range of high-quality rooms for hire in Dawlish, suitable for meetings, events, classes and group activities. The building is fully accessible, with lift access to the first floor.

Auditorium – 21m x 12m
The Auditorium is our largest space, with seating for up to 200 people in a theatre-style layout.
For events with tables (such as conferences or catered gatherings), capacity is typically around 100 people depending on layout.
The space features a striking vaulted ceiling with exposed glulam beams and a high-quality integrated sound and AV system suitable for presentations, live music and film.
We provide a range of rectangular and round tables, allowing flexible room layouts to suit your event.

Rooms 1 & 2 – 8.5m x 5.7m
Rooms 1 & 2 are ground floor spaces located next to the Auditorium, making them ideal for use alongside larger events.
The room has hard flooring and an internal hand basin, making it practical for a wide range of uses including catering preparation, children’s activities and art groups.
A wall-mounted TV screen is fitted in the room, allowing a live feed from the Auditorium to be shown when required. This makes it particularly useful during larger events such as conferences or services where overflow space or catering support is needed.
The room can also be used independently for smaller gatherings such as toddler groups, baby weighing clinics, support groups and health-related activities.

Function Room
The Function Room is a first-floor space with lift access available.
It is a bright, flexible room with natural light and padded vinyl flooring, making it easy to clean and suitable for a wide range of uses. Acoustic wall cladding helps reduce sound reverberation, creating a comfortable environment for meetings, teaching and group activities.
This room is well suited to smaller conferences, training sessions, Pilates, birthday parties and general group gatherings. It seats around 20 people in a conference-style layout, or can be used as an open space for classes and activities.
A large screen or whiteboard can be hired if required. A kitchenette is located nearby and can be used for refreshments.

Conference Room
The Conference Room is our smallest meeting space, ideal for focused discussions and smaller groups.
It is designed for meetings, interviews and one-to-one sessions, providing a quiet and practical environment for professional use.
The room features a wall-mounted large screen, suitable for presentations or video content. Floor power sockets are also available, making it well suited to business meetings and laptop-based working.
The room seats up to 10 people in a boardroom-style layout.
This space works well for small team meetings, interviews, study groups and planning meetings.

Can I make a booking?
The Hope Centre is managed by Hope Church and is available for use by the wider local area.
We aim to provide a welcoming space for a wide range of suitable events and activities, in line with our Hiring Policy and Christian ethos.
